KronosThe door opens on an entirely different cityscape than the last time. Accentuated by the fact it is upside down. Standing in the doorway is Kronos, looking rather exasperated. "Look," he says, "I said I was sorry! I don't know what else you want from me. Will you please let me in?"
In response, the cityscape starts to rotate around the door, but it doesn't stop in the correct orientation. It keeps spinning until it is once again upside down.
Looking up (down) Kronos says, "This is the best I'm going to get for now, isn't it. Ok. Thank you." He quickly steps over the threshold and down (up) to the ceiling, and closes the door behind him. He walks across the ceiling until he reaches the bar. "This just isn't going to do," he says.
Jumping up (down), he grabs the edge of the bar and flips himself to where his feet are touching the floor. He cautiously lets go of the bar and stays in place. "Much better," he says. Looking over to Julia, executes a slight bow. "Hello again. It is good to see you Julia. Would it be possible to get a lemonade?"
Later: Kronos, who also seemed to have left without anybody seeing, is suddenly back again, still holding his upside down lemonade. "That was amusing....chronal shift don't normally happen inside," he says with a slightly puzzled expression.
(No formal exit. Last posting July 6, 2003.)
The door to the pub changes color and texture. It now appears to be blue marble shot with silver veins. It slow swings open revealing a dark and nearly empty vista beyond. There doesn't appear to be any ground, but there are asymmetrical blocks of granite floating out in the void. There seems to be no particular color scheme to them, or for that matter, a pattern to their arrangement. The move in and around each other randomly. There is a cluster of dimly glowing lights and mists, and tendrils of thicker smoke connecting them floating just outside the door. A little further away, there is another cluster of lights, but they are connected by bars of what looks to be mercury. They are silvery, and changing their shapes fluidly.
The closer assemblage of lights moves through the door and resolves in to Kronos, wearing what appears to be a blend of riding leathers and body armor. He appears to be somwhat older than before, probably somewhere between late twenties and early forties, but it is rather hard to tell.
Any of those who've seen him before notice somthing odd...he seems to have no problem focusing on those around him.
Wiped himself out of existence, past and future, August 2002, to make way for a new version of himself, who left the Pub September 22, 2002.
Kronos is a youngish man with blond wavy hair. He is wearing a leather jacket with captain's bars on the lapels.
Note: Kronos has a permanent Paradox flaw which keeps him from seeing or hearing what's going on around him until several seconds after it's happened. His reflection in the mirror is lagged about five seconds behind his own actions.
Went upstairs to help with a magickal healing early March 2002.
