Okay, contestants, for the next question, choose
one of the following for your new homeland:
 1. 'the World of Darkness'*
 2. 'brain slugs and Things from Beyond'
 3. 'intersecting dimensions make for new and exciting
     adventures'
 4. 'magic-nanny British Empire'
 5. 'repressive totalitarianism and complete inability
    to measure stellar distances'
 6. 'our Star Empire not only conquers your world, it
imposes a watch on your very thoughts'

*(Any of various similiar versions; color and
packaging may vary; some models do not include
all options. Warrenty void where prohibited.)

You have 10 seconds to decide.

 No second chances.

 No deposit, no return.

(Please specify whether you would prefer baby-on-stick or
non-baby-on-stick seating. Your first choice may not be
available. "Incredibly short-lived homicidal fae" currently
out of stock.)

[<grins> You wouldn't happen to be referring to
Mirabelle now, would you? As it happens, "Incredibly
short-lived homicidal fae" is now inaccurate on at
least two counts, bordering on three. None of which,
I'm sure, is particularly reassuring to Stalks. ;-) ]

Don't forget about

7. 'Post-apocalypse slave-trading,

What, "quite plausibly homicidal trans-fae who've
managed to eliminate the more foolhardy members of
the race"? I still remember poor Julia trying to
talk to some of the ones from Mirabelle's world,
and having half a dozen kill one another in swift
succession. One of the few times she's actually lost
her temper in the Pub :-)
