"Oh." William pauses. "I am not seeing it myself, but am told there is a better show called 'Babylon 5'. Written by well-known author whose name I cannot remember."

"John Norman, is being," Yelyena supplies.

(slight pause) Kronos, over by the game of go suddenly claps his hands over his ears. "Out! Got to get it out!" he half shouts. Then appears to be concentrating for a few seconds. He then turns to Yelyena and says, "Whatever it was you just said, please, never say it again. I hate having to edit my memories."

Kronos
The horror, the horror.
(While my player is quite capible of dealing with the concept, I was scarred mentally by reading John Norman.)

"There are times," Cordelia says, "when I am more profoundly grateful than usual for the neural lace's ability to suppress disturbing images that I'd rather not have in my head."

"This is one of those times."

At that moment, Alex, who had been listening quietly to this conversation, suddenly and violently chokes on the cocoa she was in the midst of swallowing, spewing a fine mist of spittle and drink before her while coughing spasmotically. She hacks rather badly for a few breaths, before being able to breathe again...

When she regains some bare level of functionality, she looks fearfully at Yelyena.

"Lady Yelyena," Alex says, very quietly, "pray tell; in this Babylon 5 series you speak of...what exactly is the role of Commander Susan Ivanova? Lyta Alexander? Ambassador Delenn?"

"Ivanova, Ivanova... she is tall blonde woman. Earthmen make her boss of space station, because she is bossy and proud and they are afraid of her. And she is very intelligent also. But secretly inside we are seeing that she is not happy with her life.

"And then one day she is being rude to Tarl Cabot, who is Gorean Ambassador. And he is taking her and spanking her over his knee in front of entire space station. She is threatening him and then she is weeping and begging him to stop, and he is thinking she has learned her lesson. And she is saying, I love you Tarl Cabot, no Earth man would have dared to show me true happiness like this. Then he is giving her shiny collar in special double-length episode, very much romantic, and Babylon station is being run by men of Gor after that."

He frowns slightly. "Is not entirely my sort of program, and I am not watching it very often, but I am having friends who are mad keen fans and are telling me all about this. These other names you say... Yelyena, do you know them? Which one is nurse?"

"Stephina Franklin," she says "Is being very cute black Xenobioligist, who is most sadly being addicted to stims because she is overworking. She is then being saved by Michael Alfredo Garibaldi who is being friend of Tarl Cabot after they are having bonding session."

She thinks "Excuse me, I am not watching this so much. Let me think. Ah, there is being Delenn, who is attractive alien woman, yes? Is reminding me of Star Trek, sometimes, with pretty blue women throwing themselves at Kirk's feet, only he is not being interested in them.

"Anyway, she is not being blue. Is having nice bone crest, like Tzimisce. She is, um, dissolving grey council so that it can be being run by male minbari who are taking very much to teachings of Gor."

She frowns "Then there is Lyta, but I am not seeing episodes after she is being rising up against the Goreans and going into Vorlon space. I am not quite understanding three-edged sword part, you will see, because my English it is not so good."

"But character I am _most_ liking is Londo Mollari, who is being like some Camarilla who are not understanding Sabbat is good and Antedeluvians are evil until truth is revealed. Then he is making great sacrifice and many Centauri are being killed in big bomb to get rid of shadow hair-comb things. Is very emotional, making me cry and think 'Is perfect anarchist model'."
